The equipment compacted the soil and they <br /> recommended spreading approximately 1" of black dirt over the area that was covered in fill, so that the grass <br /> seed will take again. They also recommended using a straw mat (or equivalent) over the seed far erosion <br /> control. We would like to have them do this, so that the area that was covered in fill can be restored to grass. <br /> We will wait for your confirmation before asking them to do this. They also recommended leaving the silt <br /> fence in place until the new seed is growing well. We plan to do this as well. <br /> Please confirm that we can have our contractor perform the restoration as detailed above. <br /> 3 <br />
