PAGE 5 <br /> Councilmember Frahm stated he would like to see the <br /> initialapplicationfor these propertiesasaseparate <br /> application since they are not directly adjacent to <br /> the marina and the City needs to know how Chaska will <br /> use the land. <br /> TONRA TRANSMISSION <br /> CRAIG OLSON APPEARANCE Craig Olson was present. <br /> Councilmember Grabek moved, Mayor Butler seconded, to <br /> cite Craig Olson for numerous violations and the three <br /> violations noted by staff for the allowed number of <br /> parking with City Attorney to try f or the maximum f ine. <br /> Motion was delayed due to discussion. <br /> City Attorney Radio stated that it is also Council ' s <br /> prerogative to review the original conditional use <br /> permit that was issued for this property. <br /> Craig Olson stated that it is impossible to run a <br /> tranmission repair business with a 10 car limit. <br /> Olson stated that he has put a lot of money into the <br /> property and by getting f ined he wi 11 probably lose it. <br /> Olson stated that he has two full-time employees <br /> besides himself and that is three cars right there. <br /> Olson stated that Sailors World customers also use his <br /> parking lot for overload parking. <br /> Zoning Administrator Mabusth stated that having more <br /> than two full-time employees is also a violation. <br /> Mabusth noted that she has received no complaints from <br /> the neighbors. <br /> Motion, Ayes (1 ) , Nays ( 3 ) . Motion failed. <br /> Councilmember Adams stated that landscaping and a <br /> cosmetic change should also be considered. <br /> Mayor Butler asked that the original conditional use <br /> permit be reviewed and for Craig Olson to come back to <br /> the Council with a parking plan and landscape plan to <br /> improve the property, and that gas sales can be <br /> discontinued because it would decrease the number of <br /> vehicles accessing and exiting this severely limited <br /> property. <br /> STATUS REPORT ON <br /> ZONING VIOLATIONS Mayor Butler moved, Councilmember Frahm seconded, to <br /> accept the status report prepared by Zoning <br /> Administrator Mabusth on the zoning violations <br /> reported at the Council meeting of July 23 , 1984 . <br /> Motion, Ayes ( 4 ) , Nays ( 0 ) . <br />
