PAGE 8 <br /> METRO COUNCIL'S <br /> COMMUNICATIONS <br /> QUESTIONNAIRE The questionnairewas completed by the Councilmembers <br /> and given to staff . <br /> METRO PARRS & OPEN SPACE <br /> COMMISSION Council noted the Metro Parks and Open Space <br /> Commission' s scheudule. <br /> INFORMl�TION MEETING WITH <br /> CRYSTAL BAY RESIDENTS <br /> ON-SITE SEWER SYSTEMS Council asked staff to change the meeting date of the <br /> Augu�t 9 , 1984 Council meeting to August 15 , 1984 so <br /> that the Councilmembers can be in attendance. <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 5, SECOND <br /> SERIES - UTILITY RATES <br /> AND CHARGES Councilmember Frahm moved, Mayor Butler seconded, to <br /> approve Ordinance No. 5 , Second Series , An Ordinance <br /> Regulations Utility Rates and Charges . Motion, Ayes <br /> (5 ) , Nays ( 0 ) . <br /> LONG LARE-ORONO WATER <br /> SERVICE AGREEMENT MayorButler moved, Councilmember Frahm seconded, to <br /> approve the Long Lake-Orono water service agreement. <br /> Motion, Ayes (5 ) , Nays ( 0 ) . <br /> ADVERTISE FOR BIDS <br /> GARAGE AT WATER PLANT Public Works Coordinator Gerhardson stated that this <br /> heated garage is need to store the sewer cleaning <br /> machine and two sewer and water vehicles . <br /> Councilmember Frahm stated that he would like to see <br /> the figures on how much it will cost to heat this <br /> buil�ing per month. Frahm stated that he would like <br /> to see how much it will cost to maintain this garage. <br /> Frah� stated that he would like to see where the <br /> funding will come from for the construction of this <br /> garage. <br /> City Attorney Malkerson stated that an architect <br /> should draw up the plans and also specs should be done <br /> before the bid. <br /> MayorButler moved, Councilmember Hammerel seconded, <br /> to direct staff to advertise for bids on August 10 , <br /> 1984 subject to specs being prepared and staff is <br /> authorized to have an an architect finalize plans if <br /> necessary with results from research of the cost of <br /> heating the garage should be presented at the time of <br /> awarding the bid. Motion, Ayes (5 ) , Nays ( 0 ) . <br /> RESIGNATION - CITY <br /> CLERR - ALBERTA STROM Mayor Butler moved, Councilmember Adams seconded, to <br /> direct the City Administrator to draft a letter of <br /> appreciation for Alberta Strom' s years of service and <br /> for staff to purchase a plaque. Motion, Ayes (5 ) , <br /> Nays (0 ) . <br />
