He stated <br /> that the Highway 12 corridor would be the one to affect <br /> the City of Orono the most . <br /> CITY ADMINISTRATOR'S <br /> COUNTY ROAD #15 MEMO Mayor Butler and City Administrator Benson met with Herb <br /> Klossnerlast week as per City Administrator Benson' s <br /> memo of June 23 , 1983 . Mayor Butler noted the County <br /> was not willing to do anything with County Road 15 . <br /> Mayor Butler stated that Hennepin County was asked to <br /> find the original plans (1966-77) and to update them to <br /> coincide with todays standards . Approximately in 6 <br /> weeks , Hennepin County will be sending those plans to <br /> the City of Orono . Mayor Butler noted that she would <br /> then meet with the Mound Mayor and Spring Park Mayor to <br /> review the plans and place the corrections they all <br /> agreed on. She noted for the record that she was very <br /> interested in continuing the dialogue with the other <br /> two Mayors in the interim . <br /> Mayor Butler noted for the record that she had made it <br /> clear to the two Mayors that the City of Orono was not <br /> going to reopen the discussion of having 4 lanes on <br /> County Road 15 . <br /> Councilmember Adams noted the bicycle situation along <br /> County Road 15 . <br /> Councilmember Hammerel noted that maybe a bicycle path <br /> ought to be put along County Road 15 . <br /> Councilmember Frahm stated that the letter suggested <br /> that the City of Orono was going to reopen the 4 lane <br /> issue again . <br /> Councilmember Frahm moved , Mayor Butler seconded , to <br /> direct Mayor Butler in her discussions with the Mound <br /> and Spring Park Mayors , reaffirming once again that <br /> the City of Orono is not interested in discussing the 4 <br /> lane issue on County Road 15.
