' REGULAR MEETING OF THE ORONO COUNCIL, JANUARY 24 , 1983 PAGE -3- JoEllen also reported that the Lake Lovers Ball would be held February 1P1, 1983, and that anyone interested should attend . She reported that the LMCD would have the first reading of the Residential Boat Storage Ordinance, this ordinance would allow you to 4 boats at your dock with a special permit , you may have 2 of your own without any problem but if you go to 3 or more you will have to go to the LMCD for a special permit . Thefee that is being considered is $10. OH. LMCD stated that they felt there should be Publ ic Hearings regardinq the Lake Access Parking Agreement before they would sign the joint agreement . JoEllen stated that she had stopped into the City office today and spoke with Jeanne Mabusth regarding the fact that the City had not responded to the DNR' s Revised 1982 Draft of Cooperative Program for Providing Access on Metropolitan Area Lakes. The City and the LMCD have requested that the public hearing that was to be held on January 21 be extended . City Planner Alan Olson stated that he would get a letter out to the DNR. STATE REPRESENTATIVE BURGER LETTER DATED 1-17-83 AND STATE REPRESENTATIVE SHAVER LETTER DATED 1-18-83 Mayor Butlerreviewed withthe Council theletters received from State Representative John Burgerof District 43A and Craig Shaver State Representa- tive of District 45A J. DIANN GOETTEN'S APPOINTMENT TO MARINA COMMITTEE Mayor Butler moved , Councilmember Adams seconded to reappoint J.Diann Goetten to the Marina Committee. Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0) . AMENDED JOINT AND COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT CABLE T.V. RESOLUTION #1456 Councilmember Frahm moved , Councilmember Adams seconded to approve Resolution �1456 Adopting A Final Joint and Cooperative Agreement As Amended for the Lake Minnetonka Cable Communications Commission.
