SHORELINE MANAGEMENT COMMISSION REPORT <br /> City Planner Alan Olson reported to the Council <br /> that he was appointed as a member of the Shoreline <br /> Management Commission and the first meetinq was <br /> January 21, 1983. <br /> The purpose of this commission is to review the <br /> existing shoreland regulations and recommend any <br /> changes, either at the legislative level or at the <br /> rule-making level , so as to make them more <br /> responsive to local needs. <br /> METRO HRA-RENTAL REAABILITATION LOANS <br /> RESOLUTION #1455 <br /> Mayor Butler moved , Councilmember Adams seconded <br /> to adopt Resolution #1455 Authorizing the <br /> Metropolitan Council To Implement the Rental <br /> Rehabilitation Loan Program and the Section 8 <br /> Moderate Rehabilitation Program Within The City <br /> Of Orono. Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0) . <br /> PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> None <br /> LARE MINNETONRA CONSERVATION DISTRICT REPORT <br /> JoEllen Hurr , Orono ' s representative and <br /> secretary of the LMCD was present to report to the <br /> Council . She also stated that in the future she <br /> will only attend the second council meeting of the <br /> month or send a written report as the meetings are <br /> held early in the month and she could not have a <br /> report until then . <br />
