� REGULAR MEETING OF THE ORONO COUNCIL, SEPTEMBER 13 , 1982 PAGE-4- <br /> Hurr moved , Butler seconded , to approve a 42 sf. <br /> sign area varaince approving a 20' high pylon sign <br /> located 27' off of Highway 12. The sign may not <br /> exceed 5 ' X 7' in area. This approval is subject <br /> to the following conditions. 1) Property <br /> limited to 2 individual signs (directory signs 30' <br /> high and Q Petroleum sign 20 ' high) 2) Update on <br /> landscape plan summer of 1983. 3) City will <br /> require a temporary sign permit whenever the <br /> temporary mobile sign was in use on the site - must <br /> be stored inside when not in use . Motion, Ayes (5) <br /> - Nays (0) . <br /> TAX EXEMPT APPLICATION <br /> 525 Leaf Street <br /> Van Nest moved , Frahm seconded , to respond to the <br /> state requesting a hearing and to delay approval <br /> till such time staff can research the file and <br /> determine the use of the building. Motion, Ayes <br /> (5) - Nays (�1) . <br /> WATER TOWER <br /> CHANGE ORDER �1 <br /> Adams moved , Hurr seconded , to approve the change <br /> order #1 for extension of time until the 17th of <br /> September . Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0) . <br /> RESOLUTION �1414 <br /> Navarre Utility & Street Improvements <br /> Butler moved , Hurr seconded , to approve <br /> Resolution #1414 accepting the Navarre Utility & <br /> Street Zmprovements specs and plans subject to <br /> attorneys making changes on the contract <br /> reserving the City the right to award or not to <br /> award the contract. Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0) . <br /> CITY ASSESSOR <br /> Mayor VanNest reviewed the assessor contract with <br /> the County. The City is now in the second year of <br /> the assessment contract and if the City decides to <br /> get their own assessor we will have a time of <br /> duplication before Hennepin County has fulfiled <br /> its current contract. <br /> Van Nest moved , Butler seconded to have City <br /> Administrator Benson draft a resolution stating <br /> the City Council desires not to renew the contract <br /> with the County for anything past the term of the <br /> existing contract and that the Council is <br /> instructing our staff to proceed with a study and a <br /> recommendation to the Council as to how it is <br />
