I feel strongly that the issue has been clouded and <br /> mired down in secondary aspects of the selection process. Not only is the Rail- <br /> road site more practical for the purpose of the Center, but the bottom line is <br /> cost. The taxpayers of Hennepin County deserve to have their interests protected. . . <br /> not only for the initial cost of the facility, but for the long range effects of any <br /> site. If we do not consider ALL costs, we are not meeting our responsibili_ties to <br /> the citizens we serve. ' <br /> I strongly urge you to review this matter, Mayor Van Nest, and share it with your <br /> colleagues on the Orono Council .
