' ,'REGULAR MEETING OF THE ORONO COUNCIL, JUNE 30 , 1980 Page 43 John Gerhardson, Public Works Coordinator, DISPOSAL OF CITY prepared a memo concerning the disposal of City BUILDING* property, dated June 13 , 1980 , which states : The City of Orono does have a shed type building 8 ' X 13 ' . The building is a wood frame structure and is located at the Orono sewage treatment plant. The building is located in the area of the new pumping station and the Metro Waste Commission is requesting that we move it. The building has been vacant for several years and to move the building to a location for possible use by us would be cbst prohibitive. To dispose of the building by demolition would be cost prohibitive. Therefore , it is my recommendation to sell the build- ing by publishing a notice in the legal section of the Sun Newspapers and accepting sealed bids. With your approval, I will proceed with the proper procedure to accomplish this. Council Meeting - June 30 , 1980 Hurr moved, Paurus seconded, to approve the advertising for sealed bids for the sale of the City owned 8 ' X 13 ' building, per the above memo. Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0) . John Gerhardson, Public Works Coordinator , prepared LEASE AGREEMENT* a memo concerning a lease agreement between the Golf Course City of Orono and Mr. & Mrs. Douglas Erickson, Douglas Erickson dated June 19 , 1980 , which states: Mr . Douglas Erickson and his wife Sally will be living in the upstairs living quarters at the Orono Golf Course Clubhouse from May 27 , 1980 to June 21, 1980 . Mr. Erickson agrees to enter into the lease agreement and make certain minor repairs to the living quarters. This agreement has been reviewed by the City Attorney. Council Meeting - June 30 , 1980 Hurr moved, Paurus seconded, to approve the lease agreement between the City of Orono and Mr . & Mrs. Douglas Erickson, per the above memo.
