' <br /> Jeanne Mabusth, Zoning Administrator, entered into the VARIANCE <br /> record the request of Alan Dale , 2690 Pheasant Road, 2690 Pheasant Road <br /> for a variance , dated June 24 , 1980 , which states : #565 <br /> Alan Dale <br /> Zoning District - LR-1B <br /> l. Side yard variance : <br /> Required: 10 ' <br /> Proposed: 7 ' <br /> Variance: 3 ' = 30o <br /> 2 . Hardships: <br /> a) no adjacent land available <br /> b) house location on lot <br /> The Dales have recently constructed a deck 28 ' X 20 ' <br /> on the rear of their home at first floor level extending <br /> 4 ' frdm their neighbor ' s property line. They would <br /> like to construct a 16 ' X 16 ' screened porch over the <br /> west edge of the deck that will extend 7 ' from the <br /> side property line. The screened porch is considered <br /> an encroachment (31. 433) and will require a setback . <br /> variance. We have been advised that the neighbor to <br /> the west does not oppose the application. We have <br /> not received written comments nor did he make an <br /> appearance at the action meeting. <br /> Council Meeting - June 30 , 1980 <br /> Butler moved, Hurr seconded, to request staff to <br /> draft a resolution approving the variance request , <br /> of Alan Dale, 2690 Pheasant Road, subject to the <br /> porch never being enclosed and made a part of the <br /> house, to be entered into the chain of title, and , <br /> that the drainage from the roof be directed to the <br /> south. Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0) . <br />
