Accordingly, <br /> it is with a great deal of sorrow that I tender my resignation <br /> as Councilman. <br /> It has been a very pleasurable experience to serve the citizens <br /> on the the City Council. Orono is the greatest place to live <br /> I have ever been. I am going to miss it. <br /> To the City staff and Dick Benson: <br /> Your support of the Council has been outstanding and I commend you <br /> for your loyalty and dedication to the City. <br /> To the Council : <br /> Your dedication to the City is admirable. Each of you has made <br /> a truly significant contribution of time , effort and loyalty which <br /> deserves recognition. You have some significant challenges ahead to <br /> protect the quality of life in Orono. It is extremely important <br /> for the future. <br /> To the residents of Orono: <br /> I have enjoyed serving you as an elected official.
