Search archive files and determine which files can be destroyed by resolution or sent to Minnesota Historical Society. 4. Sutton, Catalogist, at a rate of $6.50 per hour startin�� PAarch 10 , 1980. Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0) . Dick Benson, City Administrator, presented the TELEPHONE SYSTEM* City Council with the following information concerning a new telephone system, dated March 7 , 1980 , which states: The current telephone system which has one intercom system to communicate with other depart- ments is outdated and cannot efficiently serve our complex. We have reviewed the system and the current position of Clerk-Receptionist and have concluded that an updated new system to effectively handle phone calls is required. We are partially decentralized now, in that, at the present time , the Police Department has two incoming lines and West Hennepin Assessment District has one incoming line, which has proved to be very efficient having calls go directly to the department' s secretary. I plan to decentralize the incoming lines as follows: Two lines to the Police Department � One line to the Building & Zoning Department One line to the Finance and Zoning Department One line to the Public Works Department One line to the West Hennepin Assessment District (Continued)
