REGULAR MEETING OF THE ORONO COUNCIL, FEBRUARY 25 , 1980 Page 20 <br /> Dick Benson, City Administrator, entered into MWCC - INFILTRATION/ <br /> the record the following dated February 21, 1980 , INFLOW STUDIES* <br /> which states: <br /> The City of Orono is working with the Metropolitan <br /> Waste Control Commission reviewing the infiltration/ <br /> inflow studies. The intent of the study is to <br /> encourage municipalities to eliminate excessive <br /> ground water flows from entering sanitary sewers <br /> which are then pumped out of the Lake Minnetonka <br /> area. Funding is available to conduct a study <br /> and to correct problems as they are identified. <br /> As we progress with this and rationalize our <br /> efforts, we then will notify the Metropolitan <br /> Waste Control Commission of our intent and apply <br /> for funding to proceed with the program. <br /> Letter - MWCC - Anthony C.
