PARK COMMISSION <br /> Councilmember Paurus , Orono' s representative LMCD REPORT <br /> to the Lake Minnetonka Conservation District, <br /> commented on issues before the LMCD Board. <br /> No comments from the Planning Commission. PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> Alan Olson, City Planner, entered into the COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br /> record the following concerning the City of Maple Plain <br /> Maple Plain's Comprehensive Plan,dated January 25 , <br /> 1980 , which states: <br /> Maple Plzin is a City of 680 acres , just over one <br /> square mile, with 1, 460 residents. The City <br /> contains a significant amount of industrial develop- <br /> ment in two areas ,plus commercial developrnent in <br /> the "downtown" core and a strip along Highway 12 . <br /> There is a large undeveloped wetlands in the north- <br /> west corner along Pioneer Creek.
