" <br /> End of letter <br /> Council Meeting - January 30 , 1980 <br /> Bruce Malkerson, City Attorney, explained some of <br /> the advantages of cable TV to the City Council <br /> and stated that a joint powers agreement between <br /> neighboring communities could be considered. <br /> He also stated that he would make arrangements <br /> for a member of his firm, who is knowledgeable <br /> in cable TV, to appear before the City Council to <br /> answer questions. <br /> The attached letter from William A. Fenholt, SEWER & WATER AGREEMENT <br /> Assistant Superintendent of Orono School District Orono School District <br /> 278, concerning the Water & Sewer Service Agreement <br /> with the City of Long Lake was received January 22 , <br /> 1980 . <br /> Letter Page 34 <br /> Bruce Malkerson, City Attorney, informed the City WINE ORDINANCE <br /> Council that he had sent a letter to them regard- <br /> ing wine licenses. <br /> Discussion was held concerning a wine ordinance <br /> after which, Bruce Malkerson informed the City <br /> Council that he would draft a proposed wine <br /> ordinance for their review at a later date. <br /> A memo concerning a refund for cigarette license REFUND - CIGARETTE <br /> fees was presented to the City Council dated LICENSE FEES <br /> January 25, 1980 , which states: <br /> It has been brought to our attention that the <br /> State Statutes set the fees for cigarette licenses. <br /> Our fee schedule that was adopted last year raised <br /> the fee from $3. 00 per quarter to $5. 00 per quarter. <br /> (Continued, Page 35) <br />
