'REGULAR MEETING OF THE ORONO COUNCIL, JANUARY 30 , 1980 Page 27 A memo from Michael Gaffron, On-Site Systems SEWER PROJECT FUNDING Manager, concerning sewer projects funding dated January 10 , 1980 , states: The response to my query of Farmers Home Adminis- tration regarding possible funding of sewage treat- ment projects in Orono,where no existing sewers are available, states that we cannot obtain funds from this source. The response from HUD indicates that collector systems would be eligible activities under the CDBG Program. Mr. Gaffron presented the City Council with a list of properties remaining to be connected to the available municipal sewer system. Some of these are currently working with us to hookup as soon as possible. Some have been tagged and the rest will be either handled by staff or through legal action in the coming months. The following traffic count for the ring route TRAFFIC COUNT was prepared by John Gerhardson, Public Works Ring Route Road Coordinator dated January 15 , 1980 , which states : Hennepin County has assisted us in performing traffic counts on the ring route road. The following are the dates and counts : December 17-December 19 - 48-hour count ADT 1, 339 January 9-January 10 - 24-hour count ADT 1, 082 We will be performing traffic counts regularly, weather permitting. A feasibility report for the West Ferndale/ WEST FERNDALE/MINNETONKA Minnetonka Bluffs area sewers will be ready BLUFFS SEWER AREA for the next Council meeting. Mayor Van Nest announced that the regular Council REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING meetings for 1980 will be held the second and DATES fourth Mondays of the month beginning February 11, 1980 at 7 : 00 P.M. Hurr moved, Mayor Van Nest seconded, to table APPOINTMENTS until the next Council meeting appointments Planning Commission for the Planning Commission Chairman and Vice- Chairman.
