City of Orono - Ring Route R.oad Dear Sirs: This will confirm that this morning at the City Ha]1 of the City of Orono, George McAlp�ne as officer of Buffalo Bituminous, Inc. and Walter S. Johnson as their attorney, met with the City Administrator, City Attorney, City Engineer and Project Engineer of the City of Orono. We discussed the Orono Ring Road project and Buffalo Bituminous performance on snch project. Buffalo Bitnminous agrees: A, The City of Orono has done and is hereby authorizaito do ordinary maintenance on the Ring Road. The City shall bi11 Buffalo Bitluninous for the cost thereof which shall be paid by Buffalo Bitimminous. Ordinary maintenance refers to any item that does not in itself involve in excess of $5�•�• � anY item that will involve more than $500.00, Buffalo Bituminous prefers to be consulted and given the opportunity to perform the same itself. In any event, Buffalo Bitiuni.nous accepts responsitiLity for maintenance. B. Buffalo Bit�inous will proceed with all diligence to procure a cost estimate as to change order No. 2 which establishes a retaining wall and deletes a tarning lane• It is expected that Buffalo Bituminous shall procure such cost estimate within thirty days from this date.
