Garden Tractor BUD�ET �XPLANATIONS At the present time, the park departrnent has (Continued) a 1972 16 horsepower F�rd garden tractor with a 50-inch Mower attachment. We have replaced the engine once and overhauled • the same engine once; we have replaced the mower attachment once. We do not need a much bigger tractor but one that is more of a heavy duty type. I am also anticipating purchasing at the same time, an all weather, cab mower attachment, snow blower and a �ower brooM. The cab, snow blower and power broom are beinq purchased mainly for maintaining skating rinks. Council Meetinq - Octoher 16 , 1979 Butler Moved, r�assengale seconded, to accept the budget items explanations as stated in the two memos above. Dicl: Benson, .City Administrator, presented the BONESTROO, ROSENE, City Council with a letter from Bonestroo, Rosene, ANDERLIK & ASSOCIATES 'viderlik & Associates , Inc. concerning enqineering Engineering Rates - 1980 �ates for 1980, dated October 4 , 1979 , states: "Transmitted herewith are revised Enqineering Rates which we request you to review and approve to be effective January 1, 1980. In order to keep our employee salary and overhead current with rising costs, we find that it is necessary to increase our rates periodicall��. Our present rates have been in effect since P4ay, 1978, during which time inflation has increased costs over 15 percent. "'he averaqe cost increase in the revised rate schedule is about 11 percent.
