Sec. 78-326. Purpose.�V <br /> The LR-1B one-family lakeshore residential district is intended to provide a district which will <br /> allow a combination of inedium-density residential developments and limited agricultural <br /> activity. Planned residential developments may be allowed by conditional use permits. The <br /> proposed land use may not endanger the quality of stormwater runoff into Lake Minnetonka or <br /> Long Lake. Because of the location of the district near Lake Minnetonka or Long Lake, special <br /> regulations are necessary to protect these natural resources from the effects of dense <br /> development. This district shall have immediate access to highways and public sanitary sewer. <br /> (Code 1984, § 10.24(1)) <br /> -:>; <br /> Sec. 78-327. Permitted uses:� <br /> Within the LR-1B one-family lakeshore residential district, no land or structure shall be used <br /> except for one or more of the following uses: <br /> (1) <br /> City-owned public service structures that have been approved by the city council after the <br /> required public hearings for public improvement projects,provided that: <br /> a. <br /> All buildings are located at least 50 feet from any adjacent property zoned for residential use. <br /> b. <br /> The architectural design of the structure is found to be compatible with the surrounding area. <br /> c. <br /> If the city proposes amendment to the approved design plans or the placement of the structure, <br /> notice of the proposed changes shall be mailed to all property owners within 350 feet of the <br /> parcel on which the structure is to be located. If the proposed structure is to be located within a <br /> public right-of-way,property owners within 350 feet of the structure shall be mailed notice of the <br /> proposed changes.Notice sha11 be mailed at least 14 days before the council meeting at which <br /> the amended plans will be considered. <br /> �2) <br /> Gardens. <br /> (3) <br />
