When the Orono- - <br /> - Long Lake interceptor is completed this fall, all sewess in the <br /> area will event�ally discharge to the Blue Lake Treatment Plant. <br /> Since the Hackberry sewer construction and the completion of an <br /> agreement with Long Lake, the following events have taken place. <br /> During the spring of 1978 the Medina City Council approached us <br /> requesting participation in a community sewer plan that would <br /> relieve the �iedina Morningside on-site septic system sewer ` <br /> problem. On June 15, 1978, the Orono City Cou�cil officially <br /> responded to Medina agreeing to cooperate with the City of <br /> Med ina. <br /> October 1978, McCombs Knutson Associates, Inc. completed a <br /> preliminary engineering report documenting the on-site disposal <br /> system failures prevalent within the Medina Mnrningside area, <br /> and recommended construction of sanitary sewers throughout the <br />
