RELAR MEETING OF THE ORONO COUNCIL, AUGUST 14 , 1979 Page 15
Butler moved, Paurus seconded, to accept the 201 ALTERNATE WASTE
201 Alternative Waste Management Study Report from MANAGEMENT STUDY*
the Metropolitan 9aste Control Cor.imission and
riichael Gaffron' s review of the study. PZotion,
Ayes (4) - Nays (0) .
Mr. Alan Olson, City Planner, entered into the UTILITY EXTENSION*
record the subdivision request of Fred Herfurth, Northgate Subdivision
25 North Ferndale Road, dated August 2 , 1979 , 225 North Ferndale Rd.
which states:
The developer is proceeding with design plans for
installation of improvements per the preliminary
approval in biarch.
I recommend adoption of the attached resolution
formally requesting Wayzata' s approval of the
necessary sewer and water extensions. ,
An inventory of existing sewer and water assessments
on this property indicates that the property was
originally assessed for three units (2 on Parcel 205
and one on Parcel 3600) .
The Chevy Chase project was assessed wholely on a
unit basis with $2 ,108.04 per unit being a lateral
sewer assessment and $192.60 per unit being a lift
station assessment. Because in this case, the
developer is constructing his own laterals, I
recommend charging only the lift station portion
against the additional units in this division;
i.e. 4 units X $192. 60 = $770. 40. This amount
would be payable with the fees and other charces at
the time of final plat approval.
Council rIeeting - August 14 , 1979
Butler moved, Paurus seconded, to adopt Resolution RESOLUTION #1061*
#1061, A Resolution Requesting Approval From The Northgate Subdivision -
City Of Wayzata For Sewer And Water Extensions Into Sewer & Vater-Wayzata
The Northgate Subdivision. Motion, Ayes (4) -
Nays (0) .
Mr. Alan Olson, City Planner, entered into the PORTLAND PLACE VACATION'
record the following dated August 2 , 1979 , which
states:
The County Registrar has blocked filing of the
Nancy Moe drainage easement because one lot is
Torrens property and that certificate does not
show that Portland Place was vacated even though
other County records show the vacation.
