Robert PoPe regarding the First National 2465 Shadywood Road Bank of Navarre was reviewed by the Cit�� Council. �491 � � Navarre Bank Ilobody was present to represent the First rlational Bank of Navarre. Discussion included the encroach- r.ient into the LR-lA residential zone of approximately 50 ' on the site plan for the parkin_q lot instead of the approved 10 ' variance. It v�as also noted that the conceptually a��roved plan c�ntained 9, 60� sc�, ft. for the new bank and not includincr the ciotted line Q "alternate building" addition. Staff was also directed to contact the Bank to pursue a drivewav connection bet�•�een this pro�ert1� and Super ��alu. PZotion, Aves (5) - Nays (0) . + Mr. Alan Olson, City Planner, entered into the CONnI'T'IOr7AL USE pERr4IT record the conditional use permit rec�uest of 7.683 Casco Point Road Loui� Smerling, 2683 Casco Point Road, dated #4q2 July 16 , 1979 , which states: Louis Smerling Purpose - restore lakeshore slones to original grade and to control erosion. The applicant has held up his conditional use application until the Alexander Holzer perrtit �aas coMpleted. The long del�avs involved with his neighbor' s application and the heav�� rains of this season have created a greater potential for additional erosion of the steep banks of his lakeshore property. Staff has called for action on the anplication for the July 23, 1979 neeting. - The enclosed letters have been sent to both the City Engineer and PiC��TD for review. `"he �roject involves a 32' long area along the bank. The supporting tir.iber structure or "retaining wall" will be subsurface with the necessary plantinc�s above. I have only one c�uestion that I will direct to the Citv Engineer involving the temporary step after seeding �r covering the bank with a nlastic and fiber mulch.
