P4oe appeared before the Planning Cor.u�ission on Senteraber 25, 19 i� , to review the proposed project. The plan was to extend an existing culvert to allow for the filling of a hazardous ravine. Planning Conrmission gave conceptual � approval and advised P4rs. P4oe to provide engineering plans. :he engineer will _report. . Planning Cor_unission i2eeting - February 12, 1979 � Planning Commission discussed the engineering plans subriitted by th� applicant' s engineer. A review of the City Engineer' s recor,uaendations was r.iade for r4rs. i�'ioe. The apolicant questioned the request of the City to acquire a 10 ' easement over the drainage area. Staff would research the ir,lplications of such an easenent and inform the P2oes. Action on the conditional use application would be scheduled for . the February 26 , 1979 r.ieeting. Staff Plote - Feb ruary 14, 1979 I have reviewed with P4rs. Moe the implications of the 10 ' easer.lent. The easer,lent will be a drainage easernent that identifies the public interest and secures the right of the City to step in only at tir�es of energency. 24rs. Psoe is not at all pleased and I have advised her to write a letter stating her position. Staff Recommendations: To approve the conditional use permit application of Nancy P�oe based on the City Engineer' s recomr�endation: � l. Culvert showed outlet at norrlal lake elevation and rip rap be placed at outlet. . � � 2. P4anhole to be constructed as a sur:ip. 3.
