The special concerns include housing <br /> rehabilitation, sewac�e disposal systems, flooding <br /> hazards and redeveloprient of the ,Stubbs Bay Piarina <br /> property. <br /> Mr. George, Johnson has proposed plans for redevelop- <br /> ment of the marina. These plans ��ill be the subject <br /> of a special public hearing to be held at 7: 00 P.Ps. , <br /> February 27, 1979 , in the City Council Chambers. <br /> Issues include the 1979 iiarina License Application, <br /> sewage disposal problems, housing problems , possible <br /> rezoning of the marina property, and possible compre- <br /> hensive plan ar_iendiaents. <br /> l3arina site options include: reconstruction as a <br /> full �ervice marina; reconstruction as a lir.lited <br /> service marina with dock rental only; and rezoning <br /> for residential use only. <br /> I urge you to attend this hearing and to participate. <br /> The Council needs your opinions regarding the issues <br /> and the options. �•7hat can you offer regarding the <br /> history of the area, the use of Stubbs Bay, the <br /> fishing, etc.? Should the marina be rebuilt? How <br /> ��� much activity should be permitted? G�ill it affect <br /> your property, and how? What do you prefer? <br /> Please plan to attend. " <br /> End of letter <br /> Mr. Alan Olson, City Planner, entered into the 1979 iiARINA LICENSES <br /> record the followinc� concerning 1979 joint use and <br /> commercial dock licenses dated February 2 , 1979, <br /> which states : <br /> For Planning Comr_iission Meeting - February 12 , 1979 <br /> The attached applications are on the agenda of <br /> tomorrow' s Council meeting_ I ar,► recormmending that <br /> Council act as indicated.
