A reconr_►endation will be forth cor►ing. t4ayor Van Nest introduced John Purdy and Tir.iothy JOHrI PURDY Adams who have expressed their desires to serve TIIlOTHY ADAD4S on the Planning Comriission. They were invited to attend a future Planning Comr.lission meeting at their convenience. Pir. Alan Olson, City Planner, entered into the VARIANCE record the following riemo concerning the variance 1388 Park Drive request of Paul Clabo, 1388 Park Drive, dated #428 January 25, 1979, which states : Paul Clabo On December 18 , 1979, the Council voted to deny this application. On January 9 , 1979 , the applicant requested reconsideration which action has been tabled until the February 13, 1979 rieeting. I have provided two resolutions for your consideration. One resolution for denial; .one resolution for approval. It is my recor.uaendation that the application be approved as noted in the resolution. Clabo has requested that this matter be tabled until he can be in attendance. • Several neighbors were in attendance to request Council opinion on the application. Alan Olson, City Planner, entered into the STUBBS BAY A:�EA LETTEI: record the following letter concerninc� the public hearing for the Stubbs Bay area thatwill be nailed to residents in the area of the marina: "On January 23, 1979, the Orono City Council adopted Ordinance No. 219 establishing a moratorium on development in the Stubbs Bay Area, defined as all the land within the north half of Section 5, T 117, � R 23 located south of the Luce Line Trail. The attached map shows the affected area. The moratorium will last until July 31, 1979. (Continued)
