Mr. Ploble requested permission to alter <br /> the wetlands so that there will be at least a 50 ' <br /> setback. His plan consisted of filling a 3, 000 sq. <br /> ft. area of the pond at its southern end with a cor- <br /> responding excavation of 3, 000 sq, ft, in the northwest <br /> area of the pond. <br /> The approvals required were: <br /> Dry area: 45, 980 sq. ft. <br /> Area variance: 47% <br /> Lot width: 155 ft. <br /> Lot width variance: 230 <br /> Lake setback: 75 ft. <br /> Marsh setback: 0 ft. <br /> Side setback: 13 ft./28 ft. <br /> Variance : 57� <br /> Hardcover (House).: 5 ,690 sq. ft. <br /> Total: 11,170 sq, ft. <br /> 75-250 variance: 24. 90 <br /> Septic: Holding tank <br /> The plan was reviewed at the Planning Comr�ission <br /> rieeting of October 10, 1978 (��Tor}c Session) � <br /> Commission meMbers were advised after several site <br /> investigations by staff that the designated wetlands <br /> was much larger, almost 1/3 of buildable portion - <br /> of lot, and part of a more extensive drainage <br /> system to the north and east. The City Engineer <br /> recoruaends against any alteration of the pond and <br /> proposes that sediment from runoff of the paved <br /> driveway would be contained in the pond area and <br /> not passed into the main drainage channel. <br /> Staff was requested to complete additional reviews <br /> before the next meeting. . <br /> I'or the November 27, 1978 rieeting, a second plan <br /> was submitted by ?sr. Noble which is basically the <br /> same as the original subr.iittal r►inus excess pavinc�. <br /> The house and pool reriained the same. The house had <br /> been turned around so that the garage was now on the <br /> east side of lot allowing for a more efficient <br /> entrance with less paving. (Conti ;.ied) <br />
