If I understand you correctly, despite last years ordinance change, I am STILL <br /> required to perform a full survey of the property in order to receive a build permit because the staircase in question is within <br /> 150'of the property line even if I revised my plans and showed a staircase that is complaint. If this is the correct <br /> interpretation, I would be disappointed as I think the spirit of this change was to help people like me in this situation avoid this <br /> kind of unnecessary expense. Its particularly frustrating because I will be reducing, not increasing my hardcover.
