R�GULAR P�iEETING OF TIiE OROPdO COUNCIL, SFPTEI�'1BER 13, 1978 Page 15 Tlle City Council was presented with a memo from SALARY IPJCREASE * Chief of Police Kilbo concerning a salary increase Bruce Anderson for Bruce Anderson dated August 24 , 1978, which states: � Bruce Anderson started er.�ployment on r4arch 1, 1978 at 1977 pay scale of $1,093. 47 rlonthly, hourly rate of $6. 31, and over-time of $9. 47. Fie has performed the duties of a police patrolMan adequately and in a satisfactory manner. Bruce is eligible � for a step increase to 1977 pay scale after six Months to $1, 133. 51 Monthly, hourly rate of $6. 53, and over-time of $9 . 80. I request he be granted this step increase. This increase should become effective Septerlber 4, 1978. Chief of Police Kilbo and Tor;i Kuehn, Finance LAYd ENFORCEMENT CONTRAC'I Director, presented the City Council with the new contract for law enforcement for Maple Plain, Long Lake, and P4innetonka Beach. Discussion followed. P�ayor Van ilest r_ioved, Butler seconded, to approve the Contract for Law Enforcement with Piaple Plain, Long Lake and I4innetonka Beach. Motion, Ayes (5) - P1ay s (0) . Butler moved, 2�iassengale seconded, to request staff to send letters to P�aple Plain, Long Lake, and r4innetonka Beach informing them of the terms of the contract for law enforcement and the intent to � terminate the existing contract as of �7anuary 1, 1979 if not approved and signed by the contracting cities before Octohe?- 1, 1978, 'totion, A��es (5) - Nays (0) .
