At the regular <br /> meeting to be held Thursday, June 29 , 1978, the <br /> City Council will consider a proposal to erect <br /> no parking signs along both sides of North Shore <br /> Drive from the intersection of Tonkawa Road easterly <br /> around the curve to the driveway for 3268 North <br /> Shore Drive. <br /> If you are interested in this proposal, please <br /> try to attend this meeting or give me a call <br /> before then. " <br /> End of letter <br /> Council P�eeting - June 29 , 1978 <br /> Mr. Paul Kempf, representing North Star Marina, <br /> cor..unented that there is a traffic hazard'on <br /> County #51 at this area. There is very minimal <br /> parking in this area, if posts are installed, <br /> they should be installed on blacktop curbing. <br /> Mr. Kempf submitted a survey of the area <br /> certified by Mr. Gordon Coffin showing proposed <br /> curbing and posts. The parking on the south side <br /> is used by fishermen. There is no use of the north <br /> side of County Road #51. <br /> Mayor Van Nest moved, Pesek seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION #916 <br /> Resolution #916, A Resolution Requesting The No Parking Signs - #51 <br /> Hennepin County Department Of Transportation To <br /> Erect Traffic Control Devices And No Parking <br /> Signs Along County Road 51 - North Shore Drive. <br /> Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0) . <br />
