Iioffman explained that if that work was done the way I explained; it would not be as it was before construction, and he could not accept it. I then requested again, a photograph or soinething to show me what it was supposed to look like. On r�ay 18, I met with Hoffman and Clark and dici receive a photograph of the area. This did allow me to get a better idea of how to estimate the cost for restoration. The following is an estimate of costs for materials and labor that Mr. Hoffman & A'ir. Clark and r�yself agreed on P�iay 30, 1978. r4aterial for construction the proper slope $162.00 Labor for construction the slope 200.00 Sod for slope 160.00 Labor for grading the lower area 173. 00 Seed for lower area 173.50 One 2"-3" maple tree 250.00 Repair damage to yard 300.00 TOTAL $1;413.50 PQr. Hoffman & Mr. Clark agreed to a cash settlement of $1,400 and requested one check for both parties. �t is also understood that before this claim is paid that� �he City of,��cano. �must receive all releases signed and all necessary easements signed by them. Therefore, it is my recommendation to issue a check in the amount of $1, 400 to Mr. Hoffman and Pdr. Clark, jointly, for the restoration of their property and and that this check be issued only after all releases and easements are signed by them.
