The largest increases were in salaries up $1, 318 or 14. 68�; rent, up $375 or 14. 29$; insurance, up $1, 411 or 85. 78$ and payroll taxes , up $233 or 28. 31�. NOTE! In 1977, the umbrella insurance policy for the liquor store was reimbursed to the General Fund in the second quarter. Therefore, the first quarter did not reflect $622 of additional insurance expense. If this were reflected, the insurance expense of 1978 would be up $789 or 43. 80$ instead of up $1,411 of 85. 78$. This presents a more accurate comparison of the insurance expense for the respective quarters. Dick Benson, City Administrator, presented the TRANSFER OF LIQUOR FUNDS City Council with a memo from Tom Kuehn, Finance Director, dated May 18, 1978, which states: It is requested that a transfer of funds be -�pproved in the amount of $10,000 from the Liquor Store Fund to the �eneral Fund as per the 1978 Budget Revenue Source. This will be the first of three transfers budgeted to be made from the Lic�uor 5tore Fund to the General Fund in 1978. P4ayor Van Nest moved, Pesek seconded, to approve the transfer of $10,000 from the Liquor Store Fund to the General Fund. Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0) . Dick Benson, City Ad�inistrator, presented the VOTER REGISTRATION FILES City Council with the attached letter from Vernon Hoppe, Finance Division Manager for Hennepin County, c.oncerning voter registration files dated I�iay 24, 1978, which states: Letter - Page 63 Paurus moved, Pesek seconded, to approve the request of the Hennepin County Finance Division to transfer Orono' s voter registration files to Hennepin County.
