Erect wooden or steel posts to establish (Continued) <br /> the exact boundaries of the easement for <br /> access and egress without fear of trespassing <br /> by families wishing to use the easement for <br /> recreational purposes. <br /> b. To remove existing hazards and to provide <br /> a safe, usable recreational access to the <br /> lake for people. <br /> c. For the City of Orono to comply with its own <br /> noxious weed law and remove or destroy any <br /> and all noxious weeds or a11 tick and <br /> mosquito breeding habitat. <br /> d. If possible, to reestablish the practice <br /> of erecting a dock for offshore residents_ <br /> Piayor Van Nest conr�Ated that staff should review <br /> the following: fire lane use, wee�3s, accessability, <br /> dead trees, and that the Park Comr.iission =� should <br /> review this entire matter. <br /> Butler moved, Mayor Van Nest seconded, to refer <br /> the Iiighwood lake access item to the Park Commission <br /> for their review and recommendation. P�otion, <br /> �1yes (4) - Nays (0) . <br /> Dick Benson, City Administrator, informed the ED4PLOYP3ENT <br /> �ity Council that on P�ay 23, 1978, r�arlyn Roessel Mary Woytcke <br /> submitted her resignation to become effective <br /> 21ay 31, 1978. On May 25, 1978, Chief Mel Kilbo, <br /> Joan Lattin, and John Gerhardson interviewed <br /> Mrs. Mary Woytcke, Firs. Woytcke had .applied for <br /> the building & zoning secretary position in April. <br /> Mrs. Woytcke will begin employment May 30, 1978, <br /> as part-time secretary for Police and Public Works <br /> at $2. 90 per hour. She will work eight hours per <br /> day Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday and can be <br /> available for more hours if needed. Her salary <br /> and performance will be reviewed in three months <br /> and again at six months_ <br /> Butler moved, Mayor Van Nest seconded, to employ <br /> r4ary Woytcke, part-time secretary for the Police <br /> and Public Works Departments, at a rate of $2.90 <br /> her hour effective P�Iay 30, 1978. P4otion, Ayes (4) - <br /> Nays (0) . <br />
