The Committee had no comments . <br /> on the three slips on Crystal Bay as long as they <br /> were to be used for private purposes. The North <br /> Star has been kept at this slip for the last <br /> month. <br /> Staff Comments: Issuance of the license should <br /> resolve the differences between the LMCD and <br /> Orono applications in regard to the Maxwell Bay <br /> slips, Maxwell Bay dock length, the Crystal <br /> Bay slips (either including them in the license <br /> or specifically denying them and authorizing <br /> the prosecution of violations thereof) , and should <br /> include conceptual review of the curb cut plans <br /> subject to detailed engineering analysis. <br /> Council Meeting - June 15, 1978 <br /> No representatives from North Star Marina were <br /> present. <br /> Mr. Alan Olson reported that noti.ces were sent <br /> out to all marina owners. <br /> Mrs. Kane, 3332 North Shore Drive: Discussed <br /> her two letters of June 15, 1978, which state: <br /> "In addition to my letter of May 9, 1978, regarding <br /> my concerns in the renewal of North Star Marina's <br /> license at the June 15 Council meeting, I am sub- <br /> mitting the four enclosed photographs to emphasize <br /> the points in my .letter. <br /> All photos were taken on Sunday, June 11, �1978, <br /> and would seem to substantiate the problems <br /> expressed at this and other Council and/or <br /> Planning Commission meetings in the past. : <br /> It is hoped that something can be done to enforce <br /> existing � regulations regarding rainfall run-off, <br /> screen ng of unsightly areas by fences or shrubs, <br /> and general clean-up of property_ Perha�s all <br /> of this could be done through a cooperative and <br /> joint effort of the City of Orono AND North Star <br /> Marina, an effort which would improve one small <br /> area of Lake Minnetonka for a great number of people. <br /> Thank you.
