Applicant stated that hardships to lot included a hill to the west of the proposed garage and some trees to the south. Discussion ensued as to other possibilities and congestion in the area. Motion by Frahm and seconded by Hammerel to approve variances of 25 ft. street setback and 7 ft. side setback due to hardships of trees near the existing garage and topographic limitations of lot, with the conditions that: 1. Neighbor on the north side gives written approval of proposed garage site 2. Existing garage is removed prior to new construction May 25, 1978 Letter of no objection received from Herbert Ovall, 1205 Elmwood Avenue. Council Meeting - June 15, 1978 Butler moved, Pesek seconded, to approve the variance request of John Perkins, 1265 Elmwood Avenue, per the Planning Commission recommenda- tions of May 8, 1978. Mr. Alan Olson, City Planner, entered into the WEST SHORE LAFAYETTE BAy record the following request for dredging of ASSOCIATION channel and disposal of spoils in Freshwater Dredging Biological Institute marsh, dated September 26 , 1977, which states: Request to dredge existing boat channel for navigability. Application indicates maximum of three feet of dredging not to exceed 50 ft. in width. The enclosed map of Shore Hills indicates the property owners involved. Note: the owner of Lot 19 is also included although the lot is not located on the shoreline. (Continued)
