SALARY INCREASE <br /> Dale Skreen <br /> Council Meeting - May 11, 1978 (Continued) <br /> Pdassengale moved, Mayor Van Nest seconded, to <br /> approve the salary increase for Dale Skreen to <br /> $7. 40 per hour, effective P�ay 15 , 1978. <br /> 2�Iotion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0) . <br /> Dick Benson, City Administratos, informed the JOHN BOLAND LETTER <br /> City Council that Jim Olson, City Engineer, April 20 , 1978 <br /> is in receipt of a letter from John Boland, <br /> P•�etropolitan Council Chairman, dated April 20, <br /> 1978 , which states: <br /> Letter - Pages 24 & 25 <br /> Dick Benson, City Administrator, informed the ANTI-RECESSION AID <br /> City Council that every six months the Federal Report No. 3 <br /> Government sends out a special report to be <br /> filed regarding the Anti-Recession Aid Program. <br /> This Special Report No. 3 covers the period <br /> October 1, 1977 throuc�h PRarch 31, 1978 , and <br /> pertains to: <br /> l. Increases or decreases o_f any tax rate <br /> 2. Decreases of employment by five percent or <br /> more for the year ended Decer.tber 31, 1977 <br /> 3. Decreases of basic service by five percent <br /> or r.iore of the total amount normally provided <br /> for the year ended December 31, 1977 <br /> The answers to the questions on the special report <br /> form are all "no" . The 1978 tax levy was reflected - <br /> on Special Report No. 2 which covered the period <br /> April 1, 1977 through September 30, 1977. <br /> The report does require the Mayor' s signature <br /> and it also must be published within seven days <br /> after it is filed with the Office of Revenue <br /> Sharing. <br /> Massengale moved, Butler seconded, to approve <br /> the Anti-Recession Aid Special Report No. 3 <br /> and authorize the t�iayor to sign it.
