Planning Commission recommended approval and early Council consideration this week. Council Meeting - April 13, 1978 Mayor Van Nest moved, Butler seconded, to approve the variance request of Orville Grimes, 4480 Forest Lake Landing, subject to no additional variances being granted. Dock issue as it applies to property at 4480 DOCK Forest Lake Landing: 4480 Forest Lake Landing Mayor Van Nest: The City has established facts that a dock has not been used at this property and if at sometime a dock was constructed� it was an accessory use. DZr. Alan Olson: We do not have any documentation from the people in the area that a dock has been used on this lot for many ye�rs and it appears that if it had, it would be a non-conforming use and a variance would have to be applied for. Mayor Van Nest moved, Butler seconded, that the facts before us determine a dock at 4480 Forest Lake Landing does not exist and visual inspection shows dock not in use and a variance has to be applied for, these facts to be entered in chain of title. Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0) . Mr. Dale P�oe, representing Mr. Lindaman, commented that the lot is for sale and my client would like to Y.now if he can build a dock on the property - - if he should purchase the property. Mayor Van Nest: Mr. Lindaman will have to apply for a variance.
