REGULAR MEETING OF THE ORONO COUNCIL, APRIL 13, 1978 Page 14 <br /> Council .Meeting - ApYil 13, 1978 NAVARRE DRIVE-IN <br /> THEATRE <br /> Mr. Olson also cor,unented that he had talked with (Continued) <br /> the applicants and they asked if the matter could <br /> be tabled to allow them to negotiate selling the <br /> theatre land. <br /> r•4ayor Van Nest commented that the applicants had <br /> stated at an earlier Council meeting that they <br /> would want to open the last of April, 27 or 28 , <br /> if they could not negotiate selling the theatre <br /> property. The Council should act on their license <br /> tonight in view of the time constraints stated by <br /> the applicants earlier in approving the license <br /> at a later date if the negotiations fail. The <br /> theatre representatives were present at the last <br /> meeting and are aware of the conditions subject to <br /> approving the license. <br /> Butler moved, Pesek seconded, to adopt Resolution RESOLUTION #898 <br /> #898, A Resolution Setting Forth Restrictions And Navarre Drive-In <br /> Requirements Precedent To The Granting Of A Theatre Theatre License <br /> License To Northwest Cinema Corporation Authorizing <br /> Opening And Operation Of The Navarre Drive-In <br /> Theatre During The 1978 Season, adding languaqe <br /> "esthetically pleasing to assure fence will not <br /> add to diminution in value of adjacent properties" . <br /> Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0) . <br /> PZr. Alan Olson, City Planner, entered into the HAZARDOUS BUILDING <br /> record the following hazardous building report 1565 Orchard Beach P: <br /> concerning 1565 Orchard Beach Place, dated <br /> April 5, 1978, which states: <br /> Site Address: 1565 Orchard Beach Place <br /> Insepction: March 21, 1978 by Alan Olson, <br /> City Planner, Certified Building Officer. <br /> Building Inspected: garage and boat dock <br /> Princi�al Use: none (house burned 40 years ago) <br /> Use District: LR-1B - Lot size: 8, 000 sq. ft. <br /> Owner: Sigrid Vedeler, 1302 N.
