The approach grade at CSAH 6 should also provide for a minimum 50-
foot landing for vehicles that are waiting to make'their entrance to the Ring
Road.
Item 3 The radii at CSAH 6 and CSAH 19/County Road 84 intersections
are too tight for truck movements. We use a minimum 35-foot curb radii at
rural intersections; a 50-foot radii is desirable when right of way is available.
We are desirous of ineeting with you to review our comments relative to
proposed geometric design standards at your earliest opportunity. The design
of this roadway must be approved by the Hennepin County Department of Trans-
portation if this road is to have future designation as a County State Aid
Highway. This is in line with our existing policies for development of new
algnrrents.
Sincer y,

Herbert 0. Klossner, P.
