An <br /> extrernely long discussion followed. It apneared <br /> � the Council was about to approve the substandard <br /> lot as a building site and the lakeshore setback <br /> � as proposed when the subject of dock rights and <br /> lake access easements were brought up. Council <br /> � then tabled the proposal subject to clarification <br /> of this issue. <br /> � <br /> • Council directed staff to research the easement <br /> status and whether setback regulations relate to <br /> ` private easement lines or lot lines only. Also <br /> requested copy of easement description to <br /> �, determine whether the easement restricts vehicles. <br /> Council will address dock issue at next meeting. <br /> � <br /> Staff - August 17 , 1977 <br /> � <br /> � Enclosed is a copy of the walkway easernent for <br /> Hannah and Stewart properties. Our ordinance <br /> � does not address itself to setbacks from easements. <br /> � The dock issue was considered by the Planning <br /> Commission at a previous meeting and, although <br /> � no determination was made, it was suggested that <br /> ` approval might be given for one dock with three <br /> slips - including the two easement owners and <br /> � the property owner himself. <br /> � Council Meeting - August 22 , 1977 � <br /> � The City Council reviewed Pdr.
