Their bid was an � <br /> A-64 Ford, for $26,990.00, but they did not <br /> meet the specifications. <br /> � <br /> The next lowest bid was from Case Power and <br /> Equipment, for a W-20B, in the amount of <br /> $28,117. 00. , <br /> The City of Orono has owned a Case front end <br /> loader, one yard capacity, since 1965. Their <br /> machine has c�iven us very good service and I <br /> am very pleased with the service from Case Power <br /> and Equipment Company. <br /> Therefore, it is my recommendation to award the ', <br /> bid to Case Power & Equipment Company, in the ' <br /> amount of $28,117.00, for one W-20B, two yard <br /> capacity, Case articulated front end loader. <br /> � Council Meeting - July 25, 1977 <br /> �ssengale moved, Mayor Van Nest seconded, to BID AWARD <br /> rard the bid to Case Power & Equipment Company Case Power & Equipment <br /> in the amount of $28,117. 00, for one W-20B, <br /> two yard capacity, Case articulated front end <br /> loader per the City Administrator's recom- <br /> mendation upon determination that Gustafson <br /> �quipment Company, Duluth, Minnesota was not <br /> responsive and did not meet specifications. <br /> Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0) . � <br /> Mr. Bruce Malkerson, City Attorney, reported WETLAND ASSESSMENTS , <br /> to the City Council that he will review Wetland <br /> Values and Assessments with Mr. Glenn Hawkyard, <br /> West Hennepin Assessment District Assessor, for <br /> review at a later date. <br /> Mr. Bruce Malkerson, City Attorney, stated that PLATTING ORDINANCE <br /> the Platting Ordinance was near completion and <br /> will be available for the Special Council and <br /> Planning Commission Meeting of August 18, 1977. <br /> The City Council authorized Mayor Van Nest to BOULDER BRIDGE PROPOSAL <br /> make an official statement concerning the Boulder f <br /> �idge proposal reflecting their official view. <br /> � <br /> � <br />
