The Commission was in general agreement � with the intent of the memo. � Two members were concerned that there would be � consideration of any marsh removal anywhere in the City, whether or not identified in the � Stormwater Management Plan. Their concern was that in the future we may need to use all of � our riarshes. � The comment was made that there is an abundance i of open water available for water fo��l and the possible future need to use all the marsh for � storr.lwater filtration would sunercede this. � Council Meeting - June 27 , 1977 • Paurus moved, Mayor Van Nest seconded, to approve • the concept of P�iayor Van rdest' s memo for a moratorium on dredging for purposes of duck pond S construction per the Planning Commission comments and to instruct staff to review Ordinance No. 125. � Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0) . � ido action was taken on a moratorium for parks.
