Attached please find an income <br /> � statement for the four months ended April 30 , 1977 � <br /> • and April 30, 1976. You will note that the 1977 <br /> revenues are up $1, 262 or 54$ over 1976, which is <br /> � a substantial increase considering that this <br /> does not cover a full month of play �but only <br /> � twenty days. If this trend holds throughout <br /> the season, the net income should be up at least <br /> � $5, 000 over 1976. One other point of. interest <br /> is that the total expenses are up only about 3$ <br /> � over 1976 at this time. <br /> , These two favorable factors (operating revenue <br /> + iricrease and operating expense stabilizing) have <br /> resulted in a net operating deficit for the <br /> � first four months of 1977, which is $1, 044 <br /> less than the same period of 1976. P�otion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0) . <br /> � <br /> � Dick Benson, City Administrator, informed the OFFICE WELL <br /> • City Council that in July of 1975, repairs <br /> were made to the well in the Adr.ministration Office. <br /> � At that time, Mr. Tom Stevens of Stevens Well <br /> Company advised us that there could be problems <br /> � in the very near future. On May 16 , 1977, it <br /> started to pump sand. We have tried to clear <br /> � the system but have not been successful. <br /> • Therefore, I feel it is necessary to have the <br /> City Engineer write specifications for a new <br /> � well. <br /> � Dick Benson informed the City Council that he <br /> will submit three formal quotes from contractors <br /> � for Council approval at the next meeting and <br /> �lso a resolution for this emergency funding. <br /> � <br /> � <br />
