Types of Movies: The management will have no NAVARRE DRIVE-IN THEATRE <br /> X-rated movies and will attempt to play all (Continued) <br /> the PG and G rated movies that are available. <br /> �8. Litter and Weeds: The management will make sure <br /> � that the janitorial service cleans up early <br /> • and maintains the grounds. <br /> 9 . Curfew for Children: Only people who are <br /> � permitted to drive are allowed, except children, <br /> when accompanied by parents. <br /> � 10. Policing Help: The theatre will maintain <br /> personnel to control patrons, but in the <br /> � event of a serious problem, the management <br /> • will call the local enforcement agency to <br /> handle problems. <br /> � 11. No blinking lights. <br /> 12. Weekly inspections by the Building & Zoning <br /> � Department and Police Department to insure <br /> continued compliance. <br /> • <br /> It appears that the theatre management has not <br /> � met any of these conditions, except #1. <br /> � Mr. Lebewitz and Mr. Braverman, President of the <br /> � Northwest Cinema Corp. , stated that they would <br /> like to have the City adopt an ordinance controlling <br /> � drinking. <br /> • Mayor Van Nest informed Mr. Braverman that if all <br /> • the conditions of the present license were adhered <br /> to,the theatre would not be having these problems. <br /> � Mr. Lebewitz commented that they are attempting <br /> � to resolve the problems and are attempting to contract <br /> with agencies for uniform patrol on weekends. <br /> � <br /> Mayor Van Nest stated that the record warrants <br /> � Council review of the current theatre license <br /> � and a public hearing should be held as soon as <br /> possible in the interest of the public safety, <br /> � health and welfare of all the area residents. <br /> � �aelsh moved, Butler seconded, to declare an <br /> emergency in the interest of public safety, <br /> • health and welfare and to call a public hearing <br /> for r4ay 24, 1977 at 7:00 P.M. to consider <br /> � suspension of the Navarre Drive-In Theatre license. <br /> � Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0) . <br /> � Dick Benson, City Administrator, informed the City FIRE CONTROL <br /> � Council that letters have been mailed to all BIG ISLAND <br /> residents on Big Island from Police Chief Kolbo, <br /> � dated i�Iay 17, 1977 stating that: <br /> � (Continued) <br /> � <br /> � � <br /> � <br />
