The property I make reference
to is the old Phil David property bounded by Highway 15, across
from the Fresh Water Biological Institute and behind the Texaco
` station in Navarre. This property was purchased by a group of
individuals in a partnership, The partnership consists of myself,
Richard Tuthill, Hans-Rudolf Hartmann, Frederick P. Lamb and
` Alexander J. Ritter.
I want to make it absolutely clear that I had my interest in the
property prior to becoming a member of the Planning Commission
and disclosed that interest. I do not see where there would be
a conflict of interest at this point. Half of the property is
in Minnetonka Beach, and only five units are contemplated to be
 built in Orono.
r
In order to avoid any question of impropriety, it is my intention
whenever this matter should be presented before the Planning Com-
+ mission, to remove myself from the front table and take a position
in the audience. One of the other partners will make any and all
• presentations and will make all contact with the Planning Commission
` Administrators or Council.
• I sincerely enjoy the opportunity of being a member of the Planning
Commission. However, I am very sensitive that any question of im-
propriety or ethics may be raised and will tender my resignation
if the Planning Commission or any member of the Planning Commission,

 (Continued)
