The Commission recognizes your efforts <br /> and approve of these revisions to your User Charge <br /> f System. <br /> Richard Dougherty <br /> Dick Benson, City Administrator, informed the City HOME IMPROVEMENT TAX <br /> Council that the City is in receipt of a letter r40RATORIUM <br /> � from R. B._ Benedict, Senator for District 38 <br /> stating that: <br /> � <br /> . February 7, 1977 <br /> � I am enciosing _for your review and comment -a copy <br /> of a. bill that_would put a moratorium on the taxing <br /> ! of all home- improyements. _ This bill is coauthored <br /> and supported by the Chairman of the Tax Committee, <br /> Chairman of the �ousing Committee, and Chairman of � <br /> the Energy Committee. The only stipulation on the <br /> bill is that the homesteaded structure must be <br /> five years old or older, and the improvement must <br /> not increase the square footage of the structure <br /> itself.
