PLANNING COriMISSION <br /> � <br /> r Councilmember Norman Paurus, representative LMCD REPORT <br /> • to the Lake Minnetonka Conservation District, <br /> stated that the LP4CD is working on an annual <br /> � spring lake shoreline cleanup and all lake <br /> access status reports. <br /> � <br /> � Henry Muhich, Building & Zoning Administrator, NAVARRE AREA REZONING <br /> stated that many of the same Navarre businessmen <br /> � were in attendance at the February 14, 1977 r:ieet- <br /> • ing regarding the Navarre Area Rezoning. Many <br /> expressed concern over proposed zoning; requested <br /> � no change in the current B-1 zoned properties and <br /> a ten-year moratorium on any future rezoning in <br /> � the Navarre area. <br /> ` The City Council appreciated all comrients. The <br /> matter was tabled until the meeting of February 28, <br /> � 1977, for possible additional input. Directed staff <br /> to inform several representatives of next meeting. <br /> � <br /> S The group recognized Council' s concern of the <br /> traffic� problem in Navarre. Council informed <br /> � the group of public hearing regarding proposed <br /> ring route scheduled for 7: 00 P.t'i, on February 28, <br /> � 1977, �and requested their attendance. Group <br /> ` acknowledged. Council directed staff to send <br /> special notices to several representatives of <br /> � the group reminding them of scheduled public <br /> hearing. <br /> • <br /> P•sayor Van Nest moved, Butler seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION #758 <br /> � Resolution #758, a resolution for the rezoning Navarre Area Rezoning <br /> � of the Navarre area, as follows : <br /> � <br /> . 1. Rezone north 20 feet of Kelly Avenue Hclding <br /> Company property south of old Super Valu Store, <br /> � from B-1 to LR-1B. <br /> 2. Rezone vacant south portion of Northwestern <br /> � Bell Telephone Company property from B-1 to <br /> LR-1C. <br /> � 3. DScCharles property, News Realty, and Dairy <br /> . �ueen property from B-4 to B-5. <br />, All other zoning shall remain as zoned January l, <br /> � 1975, and no other changes shall be made in the <br /> B-5 zones as they exist in Orono' s code today. <br /> Motion, Ayes (5) - Nays (0) . <br /> � <br /> � <br /> � <br />
