� ' <br /> �� ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD NOVET�IBER 8, 1976 Page 22 <br /> � Section 63. 150, Redemption of Dogs. �ahenever a ORDINANCE NO, 187 <br /> �dog is picked up by the M.AoP.S.I, o or any other Amend Dog Ordinance <br /> iuly authorized agent of the City, if such dog (Continued) <br /> � has an identification tag the owner shall be <br /> notified immediately by P�I.A.PaS.I. Any dog not <br /> • claimed by the registered owner within a period <br /> • of not less than five regular business days may <br /> be sold for not less than $2. 00 or otherwise <br /> � disposed of in• accordance with Minnesota <br /> Statutes, S35e71. <br /> • <br /> Before any dog is released, the owner shall pay, <br /> � in addition to any other penalties and the kennel <br /> charges, the following: <br /> i <br /> * First Offense $20.00 <br /> Second Offense $30.00 <br /> � Third Offense $40.00 <br /> 0 Fines imposed by this schedule shall be based upon <br /> offenses occurring within any one calendar yeare <br /> � <br /> Section 63,160e Observation of Dog After Bitinq. <br /> ` Any person knowing of a case of a human being <br /> � bittin by a dog shall immediately notify the <br /> dog warden or chief of police, who shall then <br /> � irnpound the dog for a period of ten days at <br /> he expense of the owner of the dog before <br /> � jurrendering the dog to its owner. The owner <br /> of the dog may have the opportunity to choose <br /> • the veterinarian kennel where the dog will be <br /> � impoundede <br /> � Section 630180.
