�°� <br /> 0 0 <br /> CITY of ORONO <br /> � � <br /> ti <br /> ��ti� �G�' RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> `�kEsKo4 No. 5 6 8 4 <br /> A RESOLUTION GRANTING VARIANCES <br /> TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTION 78-420(b) <br /> , FILE NO. 07-3321 <br /> WHEREAS, Keith Nord, a single person, (hereinafter"Owner") is the owner <br /> of the property located at 1245 Lakeview Avenue within the City of Orono (hereinafter <br /> �"City") and legally described as: Lots 17 and 18, Block l, Maxwell's Addition to Crystal Bay <br /> Lake Minnetonka Hennepin County,Minnesota(hereinafter "the Property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, Keith Nord has made application to the City for variances to <br /> Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-420(b) to allow a second story addition with a 29.8 foot <br /> front setback when a 50 foot setback is a required, a 22.4 foot setback from the east proprty <br /> . line when a 50 foot setback is required and a 23.3 foot setback from the westerly property line <br /> when a 30 foot setback is required; and <br /> WHEREAS, after due published notice and mailed notice in accordance with <br /> Minnesota Statutes and the City of Orono Zoning and Planning Codes, the Orono Planning <br /> Commission held a public hearing on October 15, 2007, at which times all persons desiring to <br /> be heard concerning this application were given the opportunity to speak thereon. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> l, This application was reviewed as Zoning File #07-3321. <br /> 2. The Property is located in the RR-1B zoning district, where 2 acres is the <br /> minimum lot area and 200 feet is the minimum lot width. The Property is <br /> approximately 0.33 acre in azea and 100 feet in width. <br /> 3. The Planning Commission reviewed this application on October 15, 2007 and <br /> on a vote of 5 - 0 recommended approval of the variance, based on the <br /> following findings: <br /> . a.
