� <br /> � 8.9.2 All materials and equipment and each part or detail of the W�rk shall be subject at all times <br /> to observation by the Engineer and the Owner, and the Contractor will be responsible for strict <br /> � adherence to the intent of the Contract Documents in regard to quality of materials, workmanship, <br /> and the diligent execution of the Work. Such observations may include mill, plant, or shop <br /> inspection,and any material furnished under these Specifications is subject to such observation. The <br /> � Engineer and Owner shall be allowed access to all parts of the Work and shall be furnished with such <br /> infonnation and assistance by the Contractor as is required to make such observations. <br /> � 8.i 0 TESTS AND INSPECTIONS <br /> � 8.10.1 Contractor shall give Engineer timely notice of readiness of the Work for all required <br /> inspections, tests or approvals. <br /> ' 8.10.2 ff any law, ordinance, rule, regul�tion, code, or order of any public body having jurisdiction <br /> requires any Work(or part thereofl to specifically be inspected, tested, or approved, Contractor shall <br /> assume full responsibility therefor, pay all costs in connection therewith and furnish Engineer the <br /> � required certificates of inspection,testing or approval. Contractor shall also be responsible for and <br /> shall pay all costs in connection with any inspection or testing required in connection with Owner's <br /> or Engineer's acceptance of a manufacturer, fabricator, supplier or distributor of materials or <br /> � equipment proposed to be incorporated in the Work, or of materials or equipment submitted for <br /> approval prior to Contractor's purchase thereof for incorporation in the Work. The cost of all other <br /> � inspections, tests and approvals required by the Contract Dacuments shall be paid by Owner(unless <br /> � otherwise specified). <br /> 8.10.3 All inspections, tests or approvals other than those required by law, ordinance, rule, <br /> � regulation,code or order of any public body having jurisdiction shall be performed by organizations <br /> selected by or acceptable to Owner or Engineer. <br /> � 8.10.4 If any Work that is to be inspected,tested or approved is covered without written concus��«�nce <br /> of Engineer, it must, if requested by Engineer, be urccovered for observation.
