, . , <br /> � O� <br /> O O <br /> CITY of URONO <br /> a :. � <br /> ti <br /> ti <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> ��`9kESi1�g'�G NO. 5 7 3 4 <br /> A RESOLUTION GRANTING VARIANCES <br /> TO MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTION 78-305 <br /> FILE NO. 08-3343 <br /> WHEREAS, Strong Arm Construction Services,LLC, a Minnesota limited <br /> liability corporation (hereinafter"Owner")is the owner of the property located at 460 East <br /> Long Lake Road within the Ciry of Orono(hereinafter "City") and legally described as: See <br /> Exhibit A(hereinafter"the Property"); and <br /> WHEREAS, Strong Arm Construction Services, LLC has made application on <br /> behalf of the Owner to the City for a variance to Municipal Zoning Code Section 78 305 to - <br /> construct a house on the Property which has a defined lot area of 0.59 acre when two acres is <br /> required; and <br /> WHEREAS, Strong Arm Construction Services, LLC has made application on <br /> behalf of the Owner to the City for variances to Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-305 to <br /> construct this house with a 43-foot front setback when a 50-foot setback is required and a 10- <br /> foot south side setback when a 30-foot setback is required; and <br /> WHEREAS, after due published notice and mailed notice in accordance with <br /> Minnesota Statutes and the City of Orono Zoning and Planning Codes, the Orono Planning <br /> Commission held a public hearing on February 19, 2008, at which times all persons desiring <br /> to be heard concerning this application were given the opporfunity to speak thereon. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File#08-3343. <br /> 2. The Property is located in the LR-lA zoning district, where two acres is the <br /> minimum lot azea and 200 feet is the minimum lot width. The Property is <br /> approximately 0.84 acre (0.59 acre non-wetland)in azea and 203 feet in width. <br /> 3.
